UVA Health Cancer Care Gainesville offers area residents world-class, multidisciplinary cancer care, imaging, and treatments close to home. As the region continues to grow, our Gainesville clinic must expand to meet the complex needs of our patients. A planned renovation will be completed in two phases. The resulting space will encompass more than 20,000 square feet and include:
- 18 infusion suites and 10 state-of-the-art examination rooms designed for higher capacity care and patient comfort
- A laboratory equipped for rapid, in-house diagnostics
- A conference room accommodating interdisciplinary collaboration among providers
- An on-site compounding pharmacy (phase II) to minimize treatment delays and improve continuity of care
- State-of-the-art technology and equipment for precision radiation and other personalized treatments
