UVA Children’s Patient is a CMNH National Champion

Children's Miracle Network Hospitals has named UVA Children’s patient Kahmari Riedl one of 10 National Champions for 2023. The 13-year-old, who battles gastroschisis, credits UVA Children’s for life-saving care. He will share his story throughout the year to help raise money and awareness for the 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the United States and Canada. As a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital since 1988, UVA Children’s has partnered with national and local organizations to raise more than $14 million for pediatric patients and their families.
