Faculty & Staff Fundraising Page Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in UVA Health Development’s Get Involved fundraising pages.

Get Involved is a do-it-yourself fundraising tool designed for patients, families, and members of our community. UVA Health faculty and staff can use Get Involved to raise money for funding needs that meet the following criteria:

  • The funds are needed for a specific project, like a symposium, conference, or equipment purchase. Funds can also be raised in honor or in memory of a UVA Health colleague. Get Involved cannot be used to raise funds for ongoing research or lab activity.                                                                   
  • The project has a monetary fundraising goal. Successful Get Involved pages usually have fundraising goals of $10,000 or less.                                                                                                        
  • The fundraising effort has a specific end date. The end date must be no more than 6 months from the date the Get Involved page was created. 

The Get Involved page will be archived when the goal is reached or when the end date arrives, whichever comes first.
