The UVA Health Foundation was created in 2002. The Foundation works to advance the mission of UVA Health through:
- Resource development
- Financial stewardship
- Advocacy among donor constituencies
Donors and volunteer leaders are vital partners in helping ensure the growth and future success of our patient care, education and research programs.
Gifts the Foundation receives are dispensed according to donors' wishes and UVA Health's priorities. Deposits to the Foundation are appropriately invested and stewarded according to the University's policy for affiliated foundations. Donors to the Foundation are recognized through University and school giving societies.
