In Remembrance

As supporters of UVA Health, you likely are aware of the senseless act of violence that took the lives of three beloved UVA students, injured two others, and devastated our entire community on November 13, 2022.

Thousands attended a memorial at John Paul Jones Arena to honor the three UVA football players killed in the shooting—Lavel Davis Jr., Devin Chandler, and D’Sean Perry—and the University launched the UVA Strong Fund to assist those affected by the tragedy. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends who are continuing to heal and process these events. We are grateful for the support and sympathy all members of our UVA family continue to receive and share.
