Virginia Festival of the Wheel Supports UVA Cancer Patients

The 4th Annual Virginia Festival of the Wheel was held over three days in August at the Boar’s Head Resort in Charlottesville. The theme was “Cars of the Autobahn” and featured a concours d'éléganc of Porsche, BMW, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari rides and test drives, and special guest Hurley Haywood, a retired American endurance race driver. Proceeds from this annual event are donated to the UVA Comprehensive Cancer Center Patient Care Fund, which helps financially disadvantaged cancer patients and their families cope with the disease and treatment. The 2022 festival raised another $35,000 for the fund, bringing the event’s cumulative donations to $110,000.

The Fifth Annual Festival of the Wheel, “Pre-War Classics and Exotic Sports Cars,” will be held June 17-18, 2023, at the Foxfield Steeplechase Race Course. Learn more www.VAFestivaloftheWheel.com.
