Spotlight: Pediatric Cancer

We have one of the state’s only Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant Programs, led by nationally-renowned pediatric cancer researcher Dr. Trey Lee, and are opening a new bone marrow transplant program for our pediatric cancer patients. Dr. Michael Engel recently joined the UVA team as division chief for our pediatric hematology/oncology program. Engel is developing a game-changing cancer therapy, with a mission to introduce new treatments for leukemia that are far less toxic than current available therapies. Learn More.
